Well here we are again at the end of yet another year.
I cannot believe ALL of the things I did this year.
I can't name any highlights because basically the whole year was a HUGE highlight. All I did this year was travel. (And I thought I did a lot of it last year)
I drove to New Orleans with Colleen in the beginning of the year, stopping in Nashville for the night. I went down to North Carolina 3 different times to see Joel, one of the times we drove to Mrytle Beach for the 4th of July weekend, Another time we went to Raleigh for our Marriage counciling. We went to DISNEY WORLD this year and stayed at a VERY nice hotel. We drove to San Diego, CA! Stopped in Lincoln, Nebraska, and Salina Utah the first time...and eating lunch in Las Vegas and Denver. And we Drove ALLLLL the way back from SAN DIEGO, but stopped in LAS VEGAS for the night to see a Alice in Chains concert...and got back stage and drank with the bassist! Oh yes...it was a night to remember. One small trip to Maryland in the beginning of November was a funeral for one of Joel's buddies in the Corp. And our final trip, brought us here to Horseheads, New York. Where Joel has gotten an apartment (chances are this is where I'll be coming to live after we get married in August)
I went to a total of 9 Hard Rock Cafes this year.
I enjoyed it. I really did. I really don't want to go back to Myrtle Beach anytime soon, cause its a dump...I like Virginia Beach better.
This year, I inched my way closer and closer to my Bachelor's degree. I found out that I am not to fond of Oakland University, but I only have a semester and a half left there (the half is if I decide to take a class in the summer). I am 30+ credits away from my BA. I can't wait until its all done. I've found a place here in Horseheads in which I'm going to transfer to for the Fall semester of 2008, I just hope that I won't be dissapointed like I was with Oakland U. The school, Elmira College, has given me the okay and everything with a C or better should transfer to them from Oakland U, it all seems too easy I feel theres a catch somewhere......I'll probably snag on something somewhere in the chaos of moving and all that junk...cause shit seems to happen all at once.
I got that new job I always wanted in the year 2007, yup I quit waitressing at last and found a job working for DTE as a Meter Reader...its a lot harder than I thought it would be, and it sucks balancing school and this job. I'm trying really hard to stick with it though.
I got my skates back on and played Co-Ed Ice Hockey. It was great! And this year I also got my cleats back on and started playing, and I am still currently, soccer with the Juanita Chachitas!!! UNO DUOS TRES, UHH!
I didn't go to many concerts this year, I saw Alice in Chains in Las Vegas, went to a couple of concerts at Harpos, one of the times I saw Static-X again. I mysteriously found myself in a bar this year, hah think that's because I turned 21 this year. And just in time for the occasion my mother and step-dad owned a bar for a short time this year.
Joel and I went to a playoff game in May to watch the Red Wings kick the shit outta San Jose (although San Jose is one of my favorite hockey teams....but always love the Wings way before that!)
And on August 21st we saw, along with my future brother, mother and father in-law and my brother, went and saw the Tigers kick the shit out of the Indians.
Although unfortunatly the Ducks took the Stanley Cup this year (I still think the Ducks suck...) and one more reason why Hasek should've STAYED retired.....
and the Boston Red Sox became World Champs. (That was cool, but I was really hoping the Rockies would've gotten it)
In 2007 I still thought that Football sucks...(okay maybe I'll watch College Football)
I did rather well in school this year, and not going over the summer was FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC! It was the break I needed. My GPA went up from a 2.5 to a 2.7 (big fricken whoopwhoop) but I'm determined to bring it up even more.
Hmmm, so I think I got all of this year covered. I made a lot of new friends, Did a lot of new things, it was great! Like I said BIG year. Next year is going to be even bigger! A lot of changes.
My Little Bro and Little (step) Sis are graduating from High School (ALREADY!?)
I'm moving out to another state
Leaving Oakland U and coming to Elmira College
Joel and I are getting MARRIED!!
(not to mention every other one of our friends)
So I think that's a good enough resolution for 2008
I hope for a good New Year for everyone, Have fun tonight! Be Safe! And I'll see y'all in "08"
